10 Reasons To Be Excited About God of War 3 Remastered

For many, the God of War video games are on the top of the list of the most played and loved video games of all time. When we heard about the release this year of the God of War 3 Remastered, we got a little too excited!God of War 3 Remastered logo

There are many reasons why you too should get excited about the remastered release of God of War 3. On the top of our heads, we can already think of 10 great reasons we can think you too should be excited about the release of the God of War 3 remastered.

  1. The Trailer

Developers Santa Monica Studio and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) released a trailer previewing the game in all its glory. Just the trailer itself will spark fond memories of the game for those who have played God of War 3 in the past and ignite interest to play the game for new comers.

  1. 10 years of awesomeness

The God of War 3 remastered is set to be released on their 10th anniversary. 10 years on and the God of War franchise has lived to the expectations of gamers all over the world in the third-person action adventure genre. To date, it has sold over 5.2 million copies worldwide and continues to be one of the top video games of all time.

  1. Screenshot Previews

Along with the sneak peak trailer released to excite old players and new gamers alike, the developers at Santa Monica Studio also leaked screenshot previews to get gamers excited. I mean, what’s not to like about these screenshots!

  1. New Photo Mode

Don’t think that the remastered version will not have anything new. In fact, one feature we’re excited to see in the upcoming release is the new photo modes that allow players to freeze, edit and share photos of their gaming experience. Capture cool scenes of yourself playing and easily share these with friends. This has never been done before and we’re excited to see where it can take the gaming experience to a whole other level.

  1. Upgraded image and graphic quality

Like many other remastered games this year, God of War 3 will be upgraded to improve the whole experience once again. The remastered version of the video game will come with no surprises announcing a total upgrade from the previous edition released 10 years ago. Expect to have a silk smooth play and experience with the now standard of 1080p and 60 frames per second.

  1. New camera and lighting options

Kratos’ rage will look oh so different this time around in the remastered release with the new options of dynamic lighting and creative camera angles that are set to be included in the video game. Select from a range of options that will enhance the gaming experience like never before.

  1. Limited Edition Merchandise

You heard me! With the release of the remastered version, avid gamers of God of War will also be able to get their lucky hands on limited edition released merchandise. The Playstation Gear Store are planning to release a number of t-shirts as well as the all amazing limited edition and impressive Kratos statue, standing 29 inches tall. There are only 1250 Kratos statues available and they are already taking pre-orders.

  1. Second chance for new gamers

A lot of gamers will sigh with boredom of another remastered video game coming to stores. But Santa Monica Studio assures gamers that one of the key purposes of releasing an updated version is to not only to mark the anniversary of this great game, but to hopefully encourage new gamers to get a have a chance e to play the game for the first time. 10 years passing means a lot new generation of gamers to include in the mix.

  1. Relive the game all over

Remember Kratos’ bloodthirsty exploits, the thrill of the game and the intricate storylines. The release is a good time to relive the whole experience once again. If you’ve played God of War before and loved it why not do it again? It’s a great way for avid gamers of the Game of War franchise to relive the legendary game all over again.

The remastered version of God of War 3 is coming soon. Set to be released this year on July 14th in the United States, players can get all kinds of excited of this upcoming release.
