Did you know that you can play games for free on the PS4? The PlayStation Network, or PSN, has different free games available every month. If you subscribe to PlayStation Plus, the premium service, you get even more special content, free games, and early-access titles. So, let’s take a look at some of free-to-play games that are worth checking out.

  1. Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back (new)

“Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back” is a wild game that blends witty repartee and hilarity with intense shootout action. You need friends, or you won’t last long; and you need to be accurate with your shots, because friendly fire is always on. Have fun with it for free this month!

Looking for fun, crazy adventures in soup-making? “Nom Nom Galaxy” urges you to check out undiscovered planets, scoop up unique ingredients, and bring them to your manufacturing facility. You design the factory yourself, make the soup, and combat the sabotage of soup-making rivals.

If you’re on the hunt for a fast-paced, free-to-play third-person shooter, “Warframe” will hit the spot. It’s exciting, complex, and well-designed. Plus, you can join with friends online and play together. What’s not to love?

For players who enjoy Japanese folklore and fairytales, “Onigiri” is a win-win. It’s an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game) that incorporates plenty of Japanese myth and legend, along with Japanese creatures and Western monsters for your character to battle. A sprawling, beautiful world to explore, character traits to select, and a collection of NPC team members to help out during battles make “Onigiri” a lot of fun to play.

The free-to-play games that are available for PS4 are constantly in flux, so keep checking for new titles periodically.
