Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls Tips Guide

While many might be inclined to think that Reaper of Souls, as well as the main game, Diablo III is just another hack ‘em up extravaganza, devoid of any real challenge, the truth couldn’t be any different.  Actually, this add-on from Blizzard will indeed push your buttons in various ways while doing its best to prevent you from progressing forward.  Of course, with some solid strategies and a bit of insight you can easily topple your foes and perhaps even have more fun with the game in general.  Anyway, here are some handy Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls game tips for PS4 users…

Learn to more effectively harvest

As with many games like this (especially with RoS’s endless play via Adventure mode) harvesting often becomes an important issue.  Ideally, you want to try to go after the “biggest game”, as they say.  In other words, we’re aiming or legendary enemies here, which will actually drop goodies when slain even if you’re not in the area at that specific time.  Using your map to locate treasure is an obvious boon (look for a big orange star).  However, it is perhaps best to gather together a team of four individuals and have everyone complete their own bounty.  Band together to accomplish the most difficult bounty contract together, hopefully, if everything goes as planned, you can easily snag some serious loot.

Two quests with special items in ACT V

If you’re looking for some particularly good gear and goodies, there are two specific quests, both in Act V which you should take note of – Kormac’s quest and Eirena’s quest.  You can snatch up no less than 14 racks of weapon and armor, not to mention the pool and shrine spawns, of which there are no less than 6.   Some of the rather intrepid gamers actually prefer to use something like the Nemesis bracers in order to facilitate the continued harvesting of Death’s Breath, just a little fyi.

Get to level 70 before completing the game if possible

Assuming that you take the main boss in Reaper of Souls at say, a level lower than 70, you will only get access to weapons and drops which are lower than that.  Moreover, if you are set at torment 1 or higher you can perhaps even pick up a new class set item.  For most people it’s all about leveling of course, which is why one needs to remain mindful of the inherent possibilities, especially if you plan on frequently revisiting this game.

Do the math – Pay close attention to the primary and secondary effects of your items

You might think that it’s much easier to just rely on the game’s general analysis of your items and weapons, the stats indicating whether or not a certain piece is stronger than something else, as it were.  The problem with this is that it doesn’t always work quite as well as you might think.  For example, if you are say, a wizard class, and some specific bit of armor can increase your orb damage, you might be better off donning that piece rather than the alternative, even if it is a bit higher in terms of its stats.
