5 multiplayer virtual game titles to enjoy with friends

Gaming is always best when you enjoy it with friends. After all, gaming was never meant to be done alone. Having someone to talk to, laugh with and overcome challenges with always manages to make games more fun and memorable. Community is the soul of gaming and sites like joystickgaming.io are a testament to this. However, there are so many games to choose from, how do you know which ones are worth your while? While some games may be great to play on your own, they don’t automatically transfer into great multiplayer games. Here’s what we think will be the five best virtual games to enjoy with friends.

Fortnite – Do you want a great game that is also supremely popular? Look no further than Fortnite. Released in 2017, this game has enjoyed unparalleled popularity since. Fortnite has different modes including a Fortnite: Battle Royale, a 100-player battle royale game; Fortnite: Save the World, a tower-defense and shooter game; and Fortnite: Creative which gives players freedom to design worlds and new battlegrounds.

Apex Legends – This free-to-play game provides one of the most loved battles royale games available today. Apex Legends boasts fluid movement and gameplay that is the envy of many. It also allows your team to communicate efficiently. Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Apex Legends was first released in February 2019. This game is bound to give you many hours of fun and camaraderie.

Grand Theft Auto Online – This is the game parents love to hate. Never mind that GTA 5 was first released in 2013, several years later, it is still a monster hit as it allows players to explore San Andreas. In the online version, players can still expect more of what they loved about the original. They will enjoy elevating their protagonist from street hustler to powerful criminal. Gamers will also enjoy the numerous side missions and other events including heists.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – This is one of the pioneers in online first-person shooter games. Released in 2012, CS: GO is not a newer game by any means; however, it is still a massively popular title and gamers will still find lots of players ready to take on whatever missions come their way.

PUBG: Battlegrounds – This is one game that does a great job of keeping Battle Royales an important part of gaming. PUBG has been a hit on every platform and for good reason. In the game, 100 players are placed on an island where they are made to scavenge for weapons and equipment to battle other players. Over time, the game raises the intensity by decreasing the playing area and bringing players closer together. PUBG: Battlegrounds is one of the bestselling games of all times.
